The Celebration Collection is for sale right now, January 2-9th.
From the Homeschool Resource Co., this digital bundle includes homeschooling-friendly resources for 30 holidays, spanning the whole year — including my very own Finding Christ in the Christmas Tree.
Some of these products are more holiday-ish and some are more homeschool-ish, so you’ll have to take a peek and see which products are a good fit for your family. A few that appeal to me include:
Finding Christ in the Christmas Tree — obviously. This is my family’s own favorite Christmas-season tradition. Our tree goes up in “layers,” with each one representing something else about the purpose of the Incarnation. The book features the themes, Scripture passages, and hymns that accompany each layer.
A Joyful Feast — This is a 4-day Charlotte Mason-style lesson plan. It’s suitable for Christmastime — or any time — and provides a good taste of a Charlotte Mason-style education.
All About Grandpa + Grandma…and All About Mom + Dad — These are great for Grandparents Day & for Mothers Day…but also for simply studying family history.
Gratitude Bible Study for Kids — Need I say more? Of course this pairs well with Thanksgiving, but gratitude is something many of us could use help with all year ’round!
Jesse Tree Brick Challenge — There are a few Brick Challenges in this package, actually. Using LEGO or similar bricks, your kids can be hands-on while focusing on the holiday in question — in this case, Advent/Christmas.
