Beefy Cauliflower One-Dish Meal

Ingredients

lbs.
cauliflower florets
I used frozen.
4-6
carrots
peeled & sliced (Fairly large, chunky slices are fine.)
1-1.5
lbs.
ground beef
browned
about 1 c. broth
I used chicken broth, because it's what I had. Beef broth would obviously make more sense, if you have it.
about 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
about 1/2 tsp. turmeric
about 1/16 tsp. ground chipotle pepper
or smoked paprika, for less heat
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Simmer cauliflower and carrot in the broth in a covered Dutch oven until almost tender.
Add the remaining ingredients and simmer until everything is hot, most of the liquid has been absorbed, and the veggies are tender.
