Honey-Apple Ice Cream

Instructions
 

  • Spoon 1 tablespoon honey into a measuring cup (optional). Add applesauce to make 3/4 cup.
  • Dump the contents of the mix packet into the carton, add cinnamon and the wet ingredients.*
  • With an electric hand mixer, mix well to combine, then continue to beat on high, in a zig-zag motion, until the volume has increased to the level indicated on the carton.
  • Freeze for 2-6 hours or until firm.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

*It is not recommended that you use the ice cream mix manually (i.e. with a whisk) or with a blender or food processor. If you do not have an electric hand mixer, you can use a stand mixer. However, in this case you should double the recipe (using two packets), and will need to freeze in your own container (because a double batch won't fit in the provided carton).
