Simple Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c. whole grain macaroni uncooked
  • 1-1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese sharper is better
  • 2-1/2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook macaroni according to package instructions until tender. Drain.
  • Grease a large casserole dish, then add the cooked, drained pasta and cheese in alternating layers.
  • Pour milk over all and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Bake, covered, in a preheated 350-degree oven for 45 minutes.
