I actually didn’t set any goals for April (at least not in writing; I did have unwritten goals of getting all the baby reviews done and everything ready for the new baby), and I didn’t ever go back and evaluate March. I had some preterm labor at the end of March, and ended up told to “take it easy” for the next few weeks so we could get to at least 37 weeks (the point at which the midwife is allowed to come, instead of sending us to the hospital). So that kind of threw things for a loop!
As I’m writing out these goals for May (about a week in advance), I’m aware that they will:
a) need to be a bit flexible, because we don’t know exactly when the baby’s coming, and
b) need to allow for the fact that I will be taking care of a newborn in May.
With that in mind, here is my (currently-tentative) list of goals for May:
- Memorize a verse/passage.
- Finish copying over recipe files from old “paper” collection. (I should be able to sit and type, while taking it easy.)
- Get other sites completely set up on new host.
- Order folders & finish setting up portable office.
- Complete remaining to-date reviews.
- Look over health book again & plan how to proceed.
- Create plan for new “shop” and set up on site.
- Get art journaling kit put together (so the girls and I can start art journaling together regularly).
- Create new wardrobe plan, post-baby.
There are other things that were missed in March and April that also really need to be done, but are physically intensive enough they’ll need to wait until June. Notice that the list is relatively short this month – and that most tasks don’t require anything more strenuous than sitting and typing.
