You can jump to a new category at any time during your visit using the red buttons in the right sidebar, or the drop-down in the upper navigation menu.
Cleaning, Decorating, & Hospitality
includes all the obvious things, plus any posts about moving (relocating), or interacting with the neighbors.
Cooking & Recipes
covers pretty much anything in the kitchen. (This includes cookbook reviews.)
Fashion & Femininity
is both of those things. Anything having to do with wardrobe planning, etc. goes here (even if it’s for our little boys). And anything about femininity goes here, even if it has nothing to do with clothing.
Frugality & DIY
includes articles about saving money, making money, and making things. (Most tutorials are categorized with the most relevant subject, but if there isn’t anything more obvious, I’ve put it here.)
Gardening is usually in this category, as it’s a great way to DIY and save money.
Health & Nutrition
addresses natural health, nutrition, safety, and emergency-type topics.
Homeschooling
is pretty self-explanatory. This does include preschool activities. (If you’re looking for homeschooling content, I also have a site for DIY Unit Studies.)
Organization, Time Management, & Productivity
is anything to do with organizing “stuff,” time, systems, etc. If it’s about “managing” things, it’s probably here.
Parenting & (Children’s) Play
includes all things baby. It also covers parenting topics, as well as play related to the children only. (Whole-family and/or “grownup” activities and entertainment are in…
Relationships & Celebrations
If it has to do with marriage, whole-family relationships, relationships with extended family, or relationships in general (personality types, for example), it belongs here. This also includes holidays and “everyday” celebrations – in other words, just having fun!
Gift ideas are generally in here, because they’re for people (relationships!), and usually in celebration of something. 🙂
Theology & Worldview
includes theological/doctrinal posts, worldview topics, commentary on the Church, and ministry-related topics that don’t fit anywhere else (think “missions”).
If it’s politics/current events, it goes here, too.
