Although it’s not nearly the end of the 1001 days, I am going to create a new 101 Things in 1001 Days list and begin again. The current list was not a failure! There have been so many changes in our life over the past year, though, that certain situations have changed, prompting changes in priorities, as well. Meanwhile, I have actually completed thirty-nine items from the original list (in addition to making progress on at least twenty-one others)!
So, the thirty-nine completed items will, of course, be replaced. Most of the remaining items will remain on the list, although some will be in altered form. The work I have done on these list items has taught me a few things about myself, how I work best, the goals themselves, etc., and I have determined that some of them, while important, would be better designated differently. In other words, the general ideas of some of these things will remain intact, while the specifics will change. Only a few items will disappear entirely, replaced by higher-priority items.
So…look for the “new, improved” list coming up very soon. 🙂 In the meantime, look at what I already accomplished by means of the original list!

Created a visual meal-balancing system (which I still have, but no longer find useful).
Gained several pounds and have managed to pretty well maintain them, though I’m not back up to my target weight yet.

Tried 11 of the 13 (!) remaining muffin variations. (I haven’t found the list since we moved, or I’d have done the last two, as well.)

Bought (or otherwise — legally — acquired) a reusable shopping bag each month for a year.
