83. Take a shopping trip to Wal-Mart where I use only my reusable bags (or as many as I have).
84. Make something out of 3 different items I would otherwise throw away.
85. Celebrate an environmentally-friendly Christmas one year; come up with as many gift/celebration gifts as possible that are environmentally-friendly.
If we all replaced just one household product with an environmentally-friendly version, we could make a huge impact – with very little effort. That’s the idea behind number 81. (Well, and I want to go to healthy/earth-friendly – they are usually the same products – throughout our home, but I can’t change everything at once.) The idea behind number 82 is similar. It can be pretty expensive to go out and buy enough reusable shopping bags for an entire grocery trip. But adding one on to the grocery bill each month doesn’t make a significant difference to that month’s budget, so this is how I intend to build up my stash.
