I challenge you to:
- Send a snail-mail card or letter to someone. (National Card and Letter Writing Month)
- If there is someone with whom you have a relationship rift, take the first step toward restoring the relationship. (Reconciliation Day, 2)
- Take a day off from cleaning. (No Housework Day, 7)
- Do something to clean up the environment — maybe clean up trash along a stretch of road? (National Environmental Week, 10-16; Earth Day, 22)
- Look for volunteer opportunities in your area where you might be well-matched. (National Volunteer Week, 10-16)
- If you have one, take a break from the television for a week. (Turnoff Week, 18-24)
- Greet everyone you pass while you’re out and about. (High Five Day, 21)
- Wear a pro-life t-shirt. (Pro-Life T-Shirt Week, 25-May 1)
- If you have a regular hairstylist, acknowledge her with a small gift or extra tip. (Hairstylist Appreciation Day, 30)
If they are on your list, this might be a good month to focus on these goals:
- Financial goals (Financial Literacy Month)
- Decorating goals (National Decorating Month)
- Physical goals (Physical Wellness Month)
- Cleaning tasks (Cleaning for a Reason Week, 17-23)
