Those who read about Ariel’s spy training party may recall that I mentioned taking photos for ID’s and choosing spy names. (These are both Chicken Babies ideas, as well.)
For the photos, I simply took “mug shot”-style photos in front of a blank section of wall in our dining room. (Amazingly, every photo came out the first time; we didn’t have any weird blinks or anything.)
For the spy names, I used Chicken Babies’ idea of random adjectives and nouns. Ariel and I came up with a list of adjectives and a list of nouns. If you’d like to use our lists, you can download them at the end of this post. We printed them on two different colors of paper so we could easily tell them apart. Then we cut out the slips of paper, folded them up, and put them in a jar. As the girls arrived, they each drew an adjective and a noun, producing spy names such as:
The Goofy Bullet
The Stinky Horse
The Vanishing Pajama
The Musical Grasshopper
Later this week (I hope), I will put together spy ID’s, using their photos and spy names.
