KinderStuff is a great new baby clothing company!  The basic premise is two-fold: produce high-quality organic clothing at affordable prices, and offer a solution to outgrown clothing.

Everything KinderStuff sells is organic cotton.  (I think it’s all cotton.  They may sell bamboo viscose or something, but everything I’ve looked at so far is cotton.  It’s all organic.)   We received the Pop Eddy bodysuit you see above.  It’s very soft, and the fabric is a nice thick interlock/jersey (heavy t-shirt material).  (The picture you see here is from their site, by the way.  Look for a personal photo of the outfit in use when we post an announcement of the baby!)

When your little one outgrows the clothes, you can send them back to KinderStuff – at their expense, even! – and get a discount on new, larger clothing.  If you have lots of kids to pass down to, this aspect may or may not be the bigger selling point for you.  But if you only have one (or one girl or one boy), this could be quite handy!  Returned clothing will be donated, recycled, or sold on the site as hand-me-downs.

These items are a little pricier than, say, Target or Wal-Mart baby clothes.  But they’re very affordable for organic baby clothes.  And I love that 1-2 months and 3-4 months are two different sizes!  My babies tend to be little, and they are swamped by the typical 0-3-month outfits.

Honestly, I don’t see us returning much, although I think the exchange program is a fantastic idea.  We just have enough kiddoes to pass things on to right around here.  (Three girls in my house.  And we are expected to have a boy any time now.  Who has another little boy cousin due about a month after him.)  But I still love that KinderStuff makes organic clothing so accessible and am looking forward to purchasing more.
