You’ve heard me talk about the Juice high chair and the Baby Bud booster seat from Mamas & Papas. I’ve been impressed with the attention to detail in both products. (They’re also easy clean – definitely a plus with meal-related products!) One of Mamas & Papas’ newest products is the Armadillo stroller.
Did you know that fully half of parents surveyed are unhappy with their current strollers?! There are a lot of different complaints; I’m sure many of them are familiar to you. The top three are:
- The wheels get stuck.
- The fabric is hard to keep clean.
- It’s so bulky it’s hard to fit in public places. (And that’s where we usually need a stroller, right?!)
Other reasons include things like “it’s hard to fold,” and, “it takes up too much space” (hard to fit in the car, etc.).
As always, Mamas & Papas has taken all of these complaints/needs into consideration and created a better product. In this case, it’s the Armadillo stroller.
Now, this one I haven’t seen in person, myself. But having seen the previous Mamas & Papas products, I’m confident it does what it says it does. What exactly is that?
For starters, it’s designed to fold with one hand. (‘Cause, you know, when you need to fold it up, you’re often holding a baby.) It folds inward (clever thinking!) so the fabric is not hanging out getting grimy. Less dirt = less cleaning. And it’s not a “compact stroller” (like an umbrella stroller), but it folds up pretty small for a “real” stroller. (I’m told it fits in the trunk of a Mini Cooper!)

I love how the Armadillo is so easy to open and close with its folding capability in seconds.
