I received a handful of scarves to facilitate my review/post. As always, all opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

More than Alive is, for the most part, a natural living shop. They sell water filters, activated charcoal powder, books about herbalism — things like that. Those things are all wonderful, but not necessarily the first thing you’d think of as “gift-worthy.” However, they do carry one particular item that is exceptionally gift-worthy.
These silk scarves from Laos were introduced to the site’s owners by natives of that country who helped form the necessary connections. The scarves are handmade in Laos in one of three weaves (loose weave, open weave, or raw silk), and they’re all very beautiful. You do have to expect a bit of color variation just due to the nature of purchasing online (it’s hard to say whether what’s represented on your screen is true-to-life), but if you’re okay with that one little caveat, you won’t be disappointed. These scarves are beautiful.

(There are a couple different weaves in the picture above.)
Now, I’m no scarf expert by any stretch. And my young photographer and I had a little bit of difficulty with lighting. But I wanted to show you some ideas of ways they can be mixed into outfits.

Do you have a favorite (scarf, not outfit)?
