I had the privilege of working with Matthew on another project in the past, which means I was “lucky” enough to be on his radar when he and his wife launched their Etsy shop.  ComfortWood specializes in wooden growth charts (like the one you see above), although they have a number of other items, too.

I love these growth charts.  They’re simple and classic, but beautiful because of the natural materials.  And not only do they look prettier than marks on the door jamb, they’re more practical.  You can’t very readily take the door jamb with you if you move!  This can follow you along to the next house.

Keep an eye out for other items, too.  The remainder of the inventory changes, so watch for new things!  At the moment, there are some lovely wooden candlesticks.  A month or so ago there were some gorgeous spalted wood bowls.  (I had to look that up, because I didn’t have the foggiest idea what “spalted” wood is.  I could tell it looked nice, though!)

These growth charts would make a great gift for a family — especially one with several young children.
