Some of the links in the resource sections are affiliate links (including Amazon affiliate links), meaning if you make a purchase through them, I earn a small commission without any increase in your cost. This helps me keep producing resources, so thank you! Resources are not selected based on affiliate links, but if affiliate links were available for resources I’d already chosen to include, I used them.

Meal Planning Resources: Low-Energy-Investment & Make-Ahead Recipes
There are a variety of methods represented here, to accommodate different needs. I’ve tried to stick with resources that use primarily real/whole foods. I know we all have different dietary approaches — from vegan to paleo and everything in between — but virtually all of us can agree that real, whole foods are better for health than heavily-processed or artificial foods. Since most of us are already really struggling with our health, I figure easy — but nutritious — recipes are at a premium!

Subscription Meal Services
There are other meal services available, but many are simply variations on the same themes. I’ve tried to offer a variety of options here, to give you an idea of what’s available. (Note that not all services are available in all states; service areas vary.)
- Blue Apron, HelloFresh and similar meal services deliver the ingredients and recipes for you to make your own meals, saving you meal planning and shopping. Some have more flexibility than others with regard to the content of the meals.
- GreenChef specializes in organic. Paleo, vegetarian, and vegan are among their diet type options.
- PaleoOntheGo.com is another paleo service, and it also has an AIP menu option. (This service also has some options for meal components, like bone broth.)
- Freshly provides prepared (already-cooked) meals, fresh, never frozen. You can choose from packages with between 6 and 21 meals a week, and they have breakfast and lunch options in addition to dinner. All are gluten-free. (Use code RAD50 for a discount on your first order.)
- HomeBistro also offers prepared meals, although theirs are flash-frozen, so you can keep them handy for whenever they’re needed.
- SendAMeal.com allows you to order a single meal.
- If you’re struggling with breakfast, you may like MyBlix. Formerly the Green Blender smoothie subscription, you can now order their ready-to-blend smoothie kits outright (or put them on a recurring subscription, if you prefer).
Work-Saving Appliances
Appliances that save you time and effort may include a dishwasher, or food-prep tools such as the following:

Quicker Shopping Resources
- Grocery delivery services like Instacart are available in some areas.
- If that type of service isn’t available in your area, you might have the option of ordering groceries directly from your local supermarket, or a local Wal-Mart, to be pulled for you and picked up curbside.
- Sites like FarmBoxDirect.com and GrubMarket will deliver produce as though you’d ordered from a local farm-share program. Also consider FreshDirect, Hungry Harvest and/or Imperfect Foods.
- Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program, Thrive Market (natural foods), Grove Collaborative (cleaning, etc.), and Vitacost (health products & foods) will all allow you to set up auto-shipments of their respective goods. (Or you can just order outright.)
