Menu planning can often seem to take “forever.” But, really, what usually takes so long is figuring out what meals to put on the calendar. So if you can make that part easier, you make the whole process easier.
One great “trick” for doing this is a master main dish list. A master main dish list is simply a list of all the main dishes you know you can cook/eat. This allows you to easily just “grab” a recipe and plug it into your calendar.
If you’ve recently been put on a limited/specialized diet, this might be difficult, but working toward building a repertoire so you have a list can be helpful.
