These are the dresses I made for the girls (and me) for Passover. Here is Sophia’s. (The pantaloons are pinned to the inside for the sake of the photo.)

And here is a closeup of the bodice of Ariel’s. (Ariel’s and Sophia’s dresses are identical except, of course, for size. And only Sophia has pantaloons.)

This is the dress I made for myself, to coordinate:

For those of you who are interested in such things, the girls’ dresses are from Simplicity 5394, with the armhole ruffles from Simplicity 7201 substituted for the original sleeves. The collars are piped with piping made from the pantaloon fabric wrapped around cotton yarn. And I actually cut two armhole ruffles, one about 1/4″ wider than the other, then basted them together and attached them as one. The fabric is a Heidi Grace print from JoAnn’s.
My dress is from McCall’s 5094. I used view F, as it had the contrast straps and hem band, but it called for a contrast back, as well, and not for the contrasting midriff. A warning, though, if you decide to use this pattern. It’s a 3/4 circle skirt (I think – something like that, anyway), so it’s a bear to hem.
