Everybody knows the Slinky, right?  Such a fabulous, classic toy that makes a great gift for kids or grownups!  (Not only do the grownups love playing with it, too, but we love it for the nostalgia factor, too.)  But did you know there’s a whole range of Slinkys?!

Little bitty Slinkys (Slinkies?) make great stocking stuffers.

Classic plastic or metal Slinkys make great basic gifts.  If you want something a little more unusual, go for the light-up Slinky.  More modern?  The Slinky dog.  (You know, like from Toy Story.)

You can even go big and give a top-quality 14-karat-gold-plated Slinky!  (I had no idea there was such a thing.  But what an amazing gift.  Can you imagine the longevity of a gold Slinky?  I’m not sure I’d send gold end-over-end down the stairs, though.)

The one we were sent to try out is a great balance of basic and novel.  The “musical Slinky” is a classic metal Slinky.  The Slinky itself isn’t literally musical.  Rather, the box has a special flap that plays the Slinky advertising jingle when you lift it.  This is a really fun touch of nostalgia and quite affordable!

Even better, all POOF-Slinky products are proudly made right here in the United States, so it’s a great opportunity to support domestic business/production.
