If you read the post from earlier this morning, please pardon the second post of the day. If not, let me catch you up. I’m participating this month in a blogging challenge: to post 26 times this month, one post for every letter of the alphabet. Although I don’t want to make this my main focal point, I personally was intrigued by the challenge of writing through the alphabet about Thrive Life.
This is a company I’ve recently discovered, and these are my links, so if you choose to purchase or sign up through any of my links, I do benefit financially. With just a couple of exceptions, I’ll try to remember to exclude these posts from the feed so no one will be inundated with them. They’ll be in the archives so you can read them if you want to (’cause if I’m going to write something I might as well share) — and you can find them in the table of contents below, which will be updated as the month progresses.
But this is largely a for-fun exercise for me, and the main blog focus this month is on the Growth from A to Z series. (Those will appear in all the normal places.)
So What is Thrive Life?
Thrive Life is a food company that specializes in freeze-dried foods. Freeze-drying locks in all the nutrients so they don’t degrade during transport, on the supermarket shelves, etc. and makes the foods shelf-stable for a long time. This makes them ideal for food storage, travel, packed lunches, etc.
Thrive Life offers both “groceries” (individual ingredients, mostly in cans similar to coffee cans) and Simple Plate meals. Simple Plate meals are meals-in-a-box — all the major ingredients are provided in the box, along with the instructions. Sometimes a few basic pantry ingredients (like salt or oil) are also called for.
This is a whole new kind of convenience food. The cost varies, and there is a range of healthfulness in the options, but I’ve found definite value in having at least some of these options on hand.
I could say more, but I’ll save the details for upcoming posts, to keep me from saying everything there is to say before we get there, to keep the information organized, and to keep this post from becoming a mile long!
(Life happened and I missed a few. Hopefully I can go back and fill them in later!)
