Full disclosure: most of the links on this page are affiliate links. That means if you decide to buy after clicking through, I’ll make a small percentage off your purchase, even though your cost doesn’t change. These are all products and sources I truly love and use personally (and if you’re new to whole foods cooking, natural cleaning, etc. you might not have known where to find them) so I figure it’s a win-win. 🙂
Stores I Love
- Amazon.com — They have practically everything, Prime shipping on most items, and I don’t have to haul the kids out to do my shopping. What more can I say?
- Vitacost — I place an order with Vitacost every month. They have fabulous prices on vitamins, supplements, and many natural foods & household products.
- Dayspring — I love Dayspring’s Scripture-based cards and home/gift items.
- Christian Book Distributors — If I need a Christian or homeschooling book and Amazon doesn’t have it, CBD is my other option.
- Hobby Lobby — I rarely shop at Hobby Lobby online; this is a store I typically visit in person. But this Christian company runs a chain of craft stores and we buy supplies there regularly. (They also stock a variety of home decor, as well as Dayspring cards.)
- CheapesTees.com — This is a good source for quality tees, sweats, etc.
Products I Love
Ingredients/Foods:
- I often buy my coconut oil from Amazon or Vitacost. Tropical Traditions has an excellent product, though, and the advantage of carrying a wide variety of coconut products these other places don’t carry. (I’m just usually too lazy to place a separate order if I don’t have to.) If you have a good grocery store or a health food store nearby, they probably carry it, too, but it’s not likely to be very cost-effective that way.
- If you’re looking for stevia drops, I highly recommend NuNaturals. I’ve tried some of the other brands, and they all have a pretty strong, funky aftertaste. There’s just no comparison in the quality, in my opinion. Your health food store might have it, but you can definitely buy it on Amazon. (Probably Vitacost, too; I’ve never checked.)
- Whole grains. Most people – myself included – get most of their whole grains through a co-op. You might have a health food store or bulk foods store nearby that carries these in bulk, but co-ops are typically the way to go.
Other Physical Products:
- If you’re looking for a stand mixer, I prefer the Electrolux Assistent. (It’s really spelled that way. It’s foreign.) The Bosch mixers are good, too, but Kitchen-Aid tends to be hit-or-miss with whole grains. (These often burn them out.)
- If you’re looking for a grain mill, I recommend the Wondermill, hands-down. I had a Nutrimill for years, and I liked it – but I like my Wondermill better.
- No dehydrator beats the Excalibur. (It gets better airflow than other styles. And you can remove trays to do bulky items – or incubate yogurt.)
- Most of my cleaning supplies come from Norwex. I use the “tools” much more than the cleansers; the veggie scrub cloth, Envirocloths and Spirisponges are my favorites.
- My essential oils come from Simply Aroma, and I love my Vessel jewelry to go with them!
Software
- E-Sword — This free Bible software makes it easy to search. (If you prefer a web-based solution, I also like Bible Gateway.)
- Living Cookbook — This is my preferred recipe software. (Read my review here for more about why.)
- AVG — the only antivirus that doesn’t cause me so much trouble I’d think I had a virus on my machine. 😉
Of course you’ll see a variety of other products I liked sprinkled throughout the site, but these are some of favorites, or staples in our home that I thought some readers might want help tracking down.
If there’s a product, ingredient, etc. that you think should be added to this list, please leave a comment.
