Talk about irony. I received a new book yesterday through PaperBackSwap. That’s not the irony. The irony is this: the book is called The Joy of Fearing God. And I just finished reading and reviewing Fearless.
Actually, though, they go together quite nicely. Fearless finishes up by pointing out that the one healthy, Godly fear is the fear of God. This means that Fearless flows into The Joy of Fearing God quite smoothly. (I haven’t – nearly! – finished it yet, but so far it’s very good, too.)
Today, as we remember September 11, 2001 – a day that was filled with fear and uncertainty – may we also remember that God is in control, and may we fear Him.
America, Bless God.
Hey, I am visiting from the links at Mama Bzz. Both books sound good! I like your blog!
