I challenge you to:
- Choose an idea you’ve had percolating for a while, and do something with it. (International Ideas Month)
- Work on a craft project. (National Craft Month)
- Sing with your children. (Sing with Your Child Month)
- $ – Buy a book from an independent publisher. (Small Press Month)
- Write a letter of appreciation to someone. (Write a Letter of Appreciation Week, 1-7)
- Complete a task you’ve been putting off. (Procrastination Week, 6-13)
- Honor your children for Daughters’ Day/Sons’ Day (Daughters’/Sons’ Day, 7)
- Turn off your lights for an hour, beginning at 8:30 p.m. your time on on March 26th. (This is a united effort, so the date and time on this one do make a difference.) “Celebrate” with your children, if they’re still up, by reading a book or doing something else that does not require electricity. (Earth Hour, 26)
If they are on your list, this might be a good month to focus on these goals:
- Spiritual disciplines (Spiritual Wellness Month)
- Return borrowed items that you’ve finished using. (Return the Borrowed Books Week, 6-12)
- Get more sleep. (National Sleep Awareness Week, 7-13)
- Organize your office. (Organize Your Home Office Day, 8)
- Financial goals (National Money Week, 17-19)
- Cleaning tasks (National Cleaning Week, 27-Apr. 2)
