Maybe next time I upgrade my computer, I should keep the old one, too, and invest in a KVM switch. In case, like me, you had no idea what that was when you heard the name, it stand for “keyboard, video, mouse” switch. (Or so my Google results tell me.) It lets you use a single keyboard, video, and mouse, and switch between multiple computers. So, for instance, I could have a PC running Windows, and a Mac machine both on my desk, but not have the clutter of multiple input devices. (Or a Windows machine and a Linux one, or whatever.) It’s amazing the stuff “they” have come up with – and usually refer to with some abbreviation that keeps us non-techies in the dark! lol
