Chances are, if you have any interest whatsoever in natural living, you’ve heard of Rodale’s. Rodale’s has been a trusted expert on gardening, healthy eating, and similar topics for decades. But what I didn’t know – and I bet you didn’t know, either – is that Rodale’s has a website!
And it’s more than just books. They carry a wide variety of natural products, including some that would make fabulous Christmas gifts, like these:
(Although I have admit that sweater is out of my price range. It’s gorgeous, though!)
These are curated not only for their healthfulness/naturalness, but also for their quality. Rodale’s sent me some of the Vapour cosmetic line to try out. These are excellent quality. Sometimes natural cosmetics don’t “work” as well as their mainstream counterparts, but these are as good as – or better than – anything I’ve tried before.
I never really knew what “buildable color” meant before. But the Siren lipstick is definitely buildable color. The Tempest and Saucy colors they sent me are great warm-neutral hues. (If you want to see them swatched to seasonal palettes, see here.) The Elixir plumping gloss feels glossy and fresh. Not sticky. And no weird taste as sometimes happens with glosses.
I’m pretty new to cream blush, so applying that made me a little nervous. I was afraid I’d get too much and look like a clown. But it, too, looks very “fresh.”
Of course these cosmetics would make great gifts for the ladies on your Christmas list. But there’s a bit of something here for everyone. Take a look around and see what you see for your gift recipients – or yourself!
