I’m not going to say this is helpful for anything*, but this is an herbal tea I formulated in response to an assignment for something to address fever, headache, and cough when my toddler was sick.

Toddler Tea
Ingredients
- 1 part catnip Nepeta cataria
- 1 part Roman chamomile Chamaemelum nobile
- 1 part spearmint Mentha spicata
- 1/2 part flax seed
Instructions
- Measured out the herbs, then crush the chamomile flowers and grind the flax seeds before mixing all four herbs together.
- Prepare as a weak tea.
Actions of The Herbs Involved
The herbal actions I found relevant for my purposes are as follows:
-
Catnip: diaphoretic, febrifuge
-
Spearmint: diaphoretic, expectorant, decongestant
-
Chamomile: febrifuge
-
Flax seeds: expectorant, demulcent
