Although we don’t use bottles a lot around here, when we do, they’re Avent. We’ve been using these since Ariel was born nine years ago, when we were given a hand-me-down hand breast pump. Because it was designed to fit Avent bottles, that’s what we bought, and we’ve stuck with them ever since.
What I like most about them is their versatility. The bottles themselves come in two sizes – 4-oz. and 9-oz. The nipples are available in all of the “standard” varieties (various flow rates, cross-cut for juice, etc.), but there are also two different types of sippy tops that fit the rings.
There are optional handles. All of these interchange with any of the other Avent bottles, Avent cups, Avent breast milk storage containers, and (with an adapter) Klean Kanteen water bottles!
As basic bottles go, these work well for us.
Disclosure: Avent provided me with a package of bottles to help facilitate this post, as well as giveaway and donation packages for the upcoming “Baby Shower for Jesus.”
