If you drink bottled beer or craft soda, you’ve probably had the experience of starting on a bottle and then feeling stuck finishing it on the spot because you can’t recap it to preserve the carbonation. Those metal bottle caps just don’t reattach well, even if they’re screw caps.
These silicone bottle caps are a great solution.
Silicone “Beer Saver” Bottle Caps
These silicone bottle caps replace the metal caps to preserve your beer or soda for longer. They won’t keep it carbonated indefinitely, but they will let you hang onto it for a while. Just stretch the cap into place.
It’s a little tricky to stretch that last lip far enough to get it to pop into place. That’s the nature of a lid that needs to stay snugly in place once it’s attached. But it’s not too tough, and I found the caps to stay put well and work nicely.
These particular caps come in a set of 12.
Those twelve are packaged in twe separate bundles of six.
These make for great stocking stuffers. You can put the whole package into a stocking, or split it and put one set of six in a stocking, or even open them all the way up and put one or two in each stocking individually.
The caps are nice and sturdy, and they’re pretty easy to clean. You can soap them up by hand with a finger in a washcloth, or toss them in the silverware bin of your dishwasher.
