Now that the first semester is drawing to a close, many of the new college students may be reassessing things. How did the first semester go? What do I want to do differently next semester? What did I do well this semester that I want to keep doing?
As you think through all these things, one issue that might come up is the cost of textbooks. It’s ridiculous, really. A book can cost hundreds of dollars. You typically need a pretty new edition (even though they don’t usually change much from one to the next), and you only use it for a little while and then…what? It languishes on the shelf?
Instead of going through all of this hassle, have you ever considered just renting your textbooks? Renting a logical thing to do for an item you already know you only need short-term, right?
CampusBookRentals.com makes the process of renting a textbook very easy. You get free shipping both ways, and 21-day risk-free returns (in case you drop that class, or the professor makes a change, or whatever). Just head over to the site, and do a search for the book you need, either by title or by ISBN (or author or keyword). Then select the item to select the rental period and see prices. (The prices don’t show until you’re in the item page because they vary by rental period.)
(Do check, though. On occasion, for less expensive books, it’s actually cheaper to buy. Most of the time it won’t be, but pay attention.)
A small percentage of the company’s income is also donated to Operation Smile, which helps makes surgeries possible for children with cleft lips.
If You’re Not a Student
Another thing to keep in mind is that you don’t have to be an official college student to rent a textbook! Is there something you’ve just been wanting to learn about, for yourself? Why not rent a textbook and study on your own? Check out all the options that pop up for the keyword “essential oils“! (I might have to do some browsing!)
