It’s appropriate that, with this month being Card/Letter-Writing Month, we’ll arrive in a few weeks at the “cards and gifts” portion of our Getting Organized series! But in the meantime, you can’t send cards unless you have cards, right?
Buy Cards
DaySpring makes some of my favorites, because they’re Scripture-based.
These are nice, because they’re intentionally masculine. “Guy cards” can often be hard to find!
These “Colors of Compassion” sympathy cards help support Compassion International when you purchase them:
This assortment is pretty awesome for building your card “stash.” It contains thirty-two cards, in both birthday and anniversary varieties.
One of the things I like about the DaySpring cards is the insert that comes in most of the boxed card packages that offers suggestions for ways to bless others through cards.
Make Your Own
If you’d prefer to make your own cards, you might like the Cardmaker Kit-of-the-Month Club I looked at a while back. Each month they send you a kit with the materials and instructions to make a new set of cards with a particular featured cardmaking skill. (See the previous reviews for a more detailed look.)
