During our recent trip to Pennsylvania, we stopped at a Bob Evans to eat. This particular Bob Evans had a little shop inside (like Cracker Barrel, for those of you who are familiar with that chain). One of their displays was wind chimes. I wish I could remember the brand name, because these wind chimes sounded sooo beautiful! There were sets in a variety of sizes, so there was, of course, a wide range of pitches, but they were all lovely. The biggest ones sounded just like church bells. 🙂
I don’t think I would have been able to choose, though; I liked them all. If I bought them, I might have to get one of each and hang them along a path or something. lol
[Update: The wind chimes I saw were Majesty Bells. Their sound is exquisite!]
Try looking for “Majesty Bells.” We just got some from a hammock store in Nags Head, and they sound just like church bells. They are “tuned” – many wind chimes are not. Key of A, in case you were wondering.
I think those were the ones we saw. Thanks!
