The background for my cover inserts was a 12×12″ piece of scrapbooking paper. I cut off 1-1/4″ each direction, and the remaining portion was a perfect fit for the front. The two strips I cut off were pieced together and fit nicely in the spine of my 2″ binder.
I titled my home management binder “My Maidservant.” That’s what’s written across the top. At the bottom right, it says, “(Household Notebook).” The large picture is a Camille Pissaro painting called Peasant Woman and Child. The smaller picture is a Jules Breton painting called Peasant Woman Threading a Needle.
I really, really, really like my binder. It’s a very heavy-duty one, guaranteed not to gap. It has D-shaped rings, which are attached to the right-hand side of the binder, rather than the spine. It lies flat nicely and is sufficiently wide to cover not only my page protectors, but my tabs, as well. It’s a Wilson Jones “Premium Professional Edition Binder” and I got it from Wal-Mart.
