Many of you are probably already familiar with HALO as the maker of the popular sleep sacks.  Personally, I’m not a fan of sleep sacks – nothing wrong with them, it’s just one of my quirks.  (I don’t use gowns, etc. either.)  But HALO just came out with pajamas, and I was excited to get my hands on a pair – literally.

These jammies are sooo soft!  They’re 100% polyester.  Typically, I would prefer cotton but, in this instance, it allows them to be flame-retardent without any chemical coating, so they’re safe for sale as sleepwear.  And HALO has “flanneled” this fabric so that it is super-soft.  The ComfortLuxe fabric is also specially made so that it’s super-breathable.  (I don’t understand that, either.  I thought polyester couldn’t be breathable, but I guess technology has come a long way!  The National Eczema Association has given its seal of approval to the sleepwear for its breathability – because the breathability of the fabric can help prevent eczema flare-ups.)  the fabric is somewhat stretchy, too, and just generally feels comfy!  (Too bad they don’t make these for grownups.  Yet.)

The only real downside to these pajamas is that, at this time, there is not a gender-neutral color/style available.  So don’t go buying these ahead for a friend who doesn’t know whether she’s having a girl or a boy.  That’s a pretty minor issue.
