I challenge you to:
- Grab a book you’ve been meaning to read, and stash it in the bathroom. (National Bathroom Reading Month)
- Try a new fruit or vegetable. (National Fruit and Veggies Month)
- Make one improvement to safety in your home. (National Safety Month)
- Say something nice to someone. (Say Something Nice Day, 1)
- Hang a load of laundry to dry. (International Clothesline Week, 4-11)
- Fly the flag. (National Flag Week, 12-18)
- Tell your children something about their heritage. (Family History Day, 14)
- Let go of something that has been bothering you. (Let it Go Day, 23)
- Find someone to take your children for a day so you can have a day off. (Please Take My Children to Work Day, 27 – Please note that this holiday’s title is tongue-in-cheek and NOT meant to offend. The day was designed as an excuse for SAHM’s to take a day off.)
If they are on your list, this might be a good month to focus on these goals:
- Give blood. (World Blood Donor Day, 14)
We bought band-aids today. Does that qualify as making a safety improvement? 🙂
