I was presented with an opportunity to participate in a contest to win a memory foam mattress from BedinaBox. This is a company that works to keep costs low on good-quality mattresses, by doing one thing and doing it well. All they sell are memory foam mattresses (in a variety of sizes) and their “accessories” (foundations, platform beds on which to use them, etc.) Some of you will remember from earlier posts that we’ve decided we need to replace our waterbed mattress with a “real” mattress, for the sake of our backs/necks (Michael’s, especially), so this opportunity is pretty exciting for me.

The means of entry into the contest was for me to create a video commercial for Bedinabox.com, upload it to Youtube with certain keywords, and embed it here. This was no small feat, as I am not only using dialup internet access, I have no means of recording video – no video camera, webcam, etc. (I can do a few seconds at a time on my camera, with no sound and lousy quality.) So I had to get a bit creative. I hope you enjoy the results. (The picture quality was better before the upload; I think Youtube must downgrade it for the sake of size. It took 2 hours to upload and only about 15 minutes or so to download.)
