Mod Camera Straps

Mod camera straps are decorative (and functional!) straps for SLR and DSLR cameras.  They sell a variety of prints and colors, in three styles.

The basic strap is just that: a basic strap.  It is made of decorative fabric, with leather ends.  Step up to the “classic,” and you get an added minky backing.  The premium strap not only has the minky backing; the ends are genuine leather, with quick-release clips.

I am still saving up for that DSLR (my sister is the photographer in our family), but my current digital camera is a pretty bulky, heavy monster.  (Not quite as heavy as a DSLR, but pretty close, if the DSLR doesn’t have a telephoto lens attached.)  This strap was so much more comfortable than the original strap, especially with the soft minky backing!  I might have liked to be able to adjust it just a tiny smidge shorter (I’m short!), but not by enough to determine whether or not I would buy this.

Unfortunately, I can’t show you in-use pictures, because I can’t take a picture of my camera!  But it’s pretty straightforward, and you can see more pictures at the Mod site.  They also sell cap savers, and drawstring bags for your accessories (to match your strap). Although the strap I have is pictured above, and is rather feminine, rest assured that there are masculine options, as well.
