Now that I think about it, I don’t even know how I found NameSpirations.  I somehow managed to “stumble across” the store online.  And immediately fell in love.  These pieces of art are one of the most meaningful personalized gifts you could give.

The Art

You send the photo you want to use, the name you want, and if you have a favorite verse for the bottom of the artwork, you include that.  Chanté does the rest.

She really has a gift for this, too.  If I had hand-picked the verses for my own daughter, I could not have chosen better.  Even having seen the sample pieces on the site, I was touched and amazed by how perfect her selections were for Livia.

This is just a picture of Livia playing on the swing.  It’s a pretty casual shot.  But I so love her smile in this one!  (She usually does that cheesy smile thing when we pull out the camera, not a real smile like this.)  The verse at the bottom is the one I sent; it’s Livia’s special verse (where her name came from).

But all of those other verses — the ones that form the acrostic?  Chanté chose those.  Aren’t they amazing?  It’s like a summary of “how to grow up godly.”  And there’s such a beautiful focus on God Himself, even while the art is in celebration of Livia.  (Incidentally, there’s another of my children’s life verses in the mix, along with one of the earliest verses we have our children memorize.)

The Mounting

There are several different mounting options available.  You can get a framed print, a gallery-style stretched canvas (that’s what this is), a framed stretched canvas, or a wooden panel.  (I sort of wonder if I should have opted for the wood.  My kids are really hard on things and I’m kind of nervous they’ll throw something through this or something.)

The canvas is smooth and beautiful and neatly mounted.  These pictures probably all look almost identical, but I’ve tried to get a bit of a different angle here so you can see the edges.

This really is a treasure.
