APMFormulators gave me a small jar of their premier product, P & M DermaSalve.  Wouldn’t you know, we went months without a single skin-related injury, rash, etc.!  (Any other time…)  What do you do, hope someone gets hurt so you can check this stuff out? 🙂  Then I dropped the bread knife on my foot.  (Ouch!)  Finally, I had my opportunity to use the salve.

There was a distinct improvement in my cuts overnight.  Of course, I can’t compare the results with what they would have looked like had I not used the salve, but it does appear to have helped.  P & M DermaSalve has a pleasant herbal aroma.  What I like best about it, though, is the consistency.  Many similar products are very, very thick – almost waxy.  This makes it difficult to smear onto a cut, and almost impossible to apply without causing additional pain.  P & M DermSalve, however, is very soft.  It is extremely easy to apply gently, without pulling at already-damaged skin.  (Just put an adhesive bandage or something over it so it won’t wipe off on your clothing.)  It’s nice to have a pleasant alternative to pharmaceuticals!
