My middle daughter just turned five, so her birthday party was this past weekend.  She wanted a makeup party.  Yes, really.  NOT happening, with a five-year-old!  Instead, we had a “princess party,” loosely based on Gigi, and let the girls get all “dolled up” but without makeup.  Pink feather boas, strings of silver beads, etc.  (And Piggy Paint fingernail polish.  That’s as close to makeup as she got.)
