Sophia and I went out shopping today.  Mostly, we were grocery shopping, but we did pick up a few other things, too.  We have been stocking up on various things on sale, so we have a lot of food in the house, but we were getting quite short on a handful of staples that rarely go on sale (like tomato sauce).  Also, paper goods seemed to be on sale everywhere, so we’re now stocked up on toilet paper and tissues for a while!

The traffic and such was crazy — you’d think they were handing out gold bullion or something, given how many people were on the road, in the parking lots, and in line at the stores!  lol  But it was a good day.  And it’s soooo much nicer to shop (especially with little ones) when the temperature outside is not in the teens!

A few highlights you may see/hear more about later: several boot purchases and a picture purchased at Goodwill, and some clay for a school-material project.
