These little guys are one of the reasons I love doing reviews. I would never have heard of these, but we love them! These collectible figures are about an inch tall. There is a “quarterback” for each of the NFL teams, and there are three specialty figures. They’re super-cute, and even my little girls love them. (They like to play with them.)
What you buy is a foil pack like this:
Each package contains 2 quarterbacks and 2 puzzle pieces. The idea is to buy and trade as necessary to collect all of the quarterbacks, and to assemble a complete puzzle. The puzzle forms a football field (as shown in the photo above) on one side; the other side depicts all 32 NFL figures.
These are a perfect size to fit in a stocking. And I love that even if you collect ALL of the figures, they still don’t take up a lot of space. The whole display – puzzle + quarterbacks – could easily fit onto one very small display shelf. Boys will like them because they’re football, and girls will like them ’cause they’re awfully cute. (Yes, I’m aware I’m generalizing here. My girls like football, too. 😉 )
These are a fun change from what we’ve been seeing, and a fun surprise. I’ll be buying more of these for stockings at our house. You should be able to find them near the registers at Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, or other sports stores. (They’re currently not available on Amazon, unless you want to buy a bunch.)
