Being a consultant for Thrive Life has some perks.
First, a consultant is inherently a preferred customer, which means you get to shop the Black Friday and spring sales a day early. (This month, that means the 18th rather than the 19th, so the first-come, first-served prices of the sale aren’t gone by the time you shop!)
Second, you have the opportunity, of course, to make a commission off of your own groceries and anything anyone buys through you. (This is really a side benefit for me. I knew I wanted to be a preferred customer, so I figured I might as well sign up as a consultant.)
New consultants are then enrolled in the Fast Track program.
The Fast Track program covers your first 100 days, divided into three periods.
During the first 40 days, the goal is $1000 in total sales (if I understand correctly, this includes pre-scheduled deliveries, not just sales that ship during those 40 days) and 2 tastings (parties, basically) scheduled.
What do you get if you meet this goal? $90 product credit. A free thermal tote for your first enrollment. An additional $50 product credit per additional enrollment. A second free month of your website. (The first month is already included.) In addition, of course, to whatever commissions you make.
During the next 30 days, the goal is $1200 in total sales and 2 tastings.
What do you get? $90 product credit. An additional $50 product credit per enrollment. An additional free month of your website.
During the last 30 days, the goal is $1500 in total sales and 2 tastings.
Once again, if you meet this goal, you earn $90 product credit, an additional $50 product credit per enrollment, and an additional free month of your website.
Plus, there’s something called Fast Track Elite. Any/all Fast Track sales/tastings count toward this during the first 100 days. If you also have a total of $5000 in sales during these first 100 days, and 5 enrollments, you earn an additional:
$150 product credit. Rolling tote. 3 free months of your website.
Let’s see if I can handle the math.
With a total of $5000 in sales, 6 tastings, and 5 enrollments in the first 100 days (assuming you spread the sales and tastings out across the three periods — although “unused” ones do roll over), you would make (besides commissions):
- $530 product credit
- thermal tote
- rolling tote
- 6 free months of your website
I’m not even going to attempt the math on commissions. It depends on how much of the $5000 in sales is delivery orders vs. one-time orders.
