Medicare’s own website says that it is almost exclusively for those over 65.  (There are a few exceptions for people with certain disabilities.)  But the new Medicare part D (prescription coverage) covers prenatal vitamins and other pregnancy-related costs.  (Too bad the Old Testament’s Sarah didn’t qualify! lol)  This is the kind of logic our government uses for their medical coverage, and then people wonder why some of us take issue with the prospect of socialized medicine.
