
Since blogging, including the opportunity to make a little extra money when I do paid blogging, is one of the things that makes me happy, this post series seemed like a perfect one in which to incorporate the video for the “Blogging Makes Me Happy” contest. I hope you are blessed by my list of things (some significant, some not-so-significant) that bring a smile to my face, and that you enjoy the video of some of my “favorite things.”
100 Things that Make Me Happy
- My husband – I am so blessed that he works so hard to let me stay home with the girls, and that we are in agreement on so many “lifestyle” issues.
- Ariel (daughter #1) – especially when she’s “musing”; she’s a very thoughtful/creative girl
- Sophia (daughter #2) – especially when she smiles; she has a huge smile
- Pretty plants (Good quality silk flowers or silk trees can be nice, but the real thing is a lot better.)
- Toe-tapping music
- Getting a book from Paperback Swap that’s been on my “wish list” for a while
- Pens with intensely-colored ink that flows smoothly when I write
- High-quality cinnamon (I love this – it smells sooo good. 🙂 )
- Finding a garment at a thrift store that I really love (and that fits)
- Baby giggles
- Opportunities to make a little extra money 🙂
- Old-fashioned clocks that chime every quarter hour
- Tatted cotton lace
- Antiqued pewter jewelry
- Jazz
- Violin music
- High speed internet connections (not what I usually have lol)
- Sunny rooms
- Pretty smocked baby dresses
- Listening to my 5-year-old recite Scripture
