Since blogging, including the opportunity to make a little extra money when I do paid blogging, is one of the things that makes me happy, this post series seemed like a perfect one in which to incorporate the video for the “Blogging Makes Me Happy” contest. I hope you are blessed by my list of things (some significant, some not-so-significant) that bring a smile to my face, and that you enjoy the video of some of my “favorite things.”

I have been plugging away, very slowly, at a list of 100 things that make me happy. I’ve been doing them ten at a time, and so far I’ve posted twenty. I could just link back to them but, since it’s been so long since I posted them, I’ll just start again from the beginning of the list.

100 Things that Make Me Happy

1. My husband – I am so blessed that he works so hard to let me stay home with the girls, and that we are in agreement on so many “lifestyle” issues.
2. Ariel (daughter #1) – especially when she’s “musing”; she’s a very thoughtful/creative girl
3. Sophia (daughter #2) – especially when she smiles; she has a huge smile
4. Pretty plants (Good quality silk flowers or silk trees can be nice, but the real thing is a lot better.)
5. Toe-tapping music
6. Getting a book from Paperback Swap that’s been on my “wish list” for a while
7. Pens with intensely-colored ink that flows smoothly when I write
8. High-quality cinnamon (I love this – it smells sooo good. 🙂 )
9. Finding a garment at a thrift store that I really love (and that fits)
10. Baby giggles
11. Opportunities to make a little extra money 🙂
12. Old-fashioned clocks that chime every quarter hour
13. Tatted cotton lace
14. Antiqued pewter jewelry
15. Jazz
16. Violin music
17. High speed internet connections (not what I usually have lol)
