This picture, unfortunately, turned out a bit blurry.  I had to include it anyway, though, because you can see just how excited Livia was to have new “Packers.”  She used to have a similar outfit, but she outgrew it.  She’d been wearing it anyway, but it really didn’t fit, and we were at the point of needing to pack it away.  BabyFans to the rescue!

What is BabyFans?

BabyFans is an online store offering team “gear” for babies and toddlers.  Not all styles are available in all sizes, but they cater to sizes from birth through 4T.  The NFL, MLB, NCAA, NBA, and NHL are represented.  (There are more teams available for some leagues than others, presumably due to varying levels of demand.)  If you’re a baseball fan you can even get a team-themed baby carrier!  (Please make sure your wrap is always tucked up to your baby’s knees, though, and that his knees are tucked up level with or higher than his thighs.)

Liv’s outfit was a little thinner than we expected, but that actually makes it much more comfortable for summertime.  These things are often super-thick synthetic fabrics that get really sweaty.

If you were here, she’d point out that little Packers logo on her pants to you and tell you she’s wearing her Packers pants.

There are lots of other outfits available.  It’s pretty obvious, I’m sure, that we are Packers fans!  My husband went to high school with William Henderson, who played for the Packers for about…8 years, I think…so there’s a personal connection.  (And since beginning to follow the team, we’ve come to just <em>like</em> them.  How can you not like a town-owned team that’s honorably run?)  There’s not really anything on the Packers page that we wouldn’t put our kids in.  (Well, except for the pink.  We don’t really do pink fan gear.  Our girls just wear green and gold.)  Like this shorts outfit I’d love to get for Caleb.

These would make great baby gifts – especially for not-first babies, when parents don’t have any pressing basic needs.
