Diamond Dazzle Stik

The name sounds like some sort of miracle cream.  It’s not a miracle, but the Diamond Dazzle Stik is a pretty handy little product.

Looking much like  a tube of lip gloss, this “stick” contains cleanser for diamonds, other precious gems, and their settings.  At the tip is a narrow brush.

To use the cleaner, wet the brush, twist the bottom until you can see the cleanser appear, “scrub” the gem with the brush, and rinse thoroughly.  (Please make sure there’s a plug or sieve over the drain where you’re doing this.  I’d hate for someone’s engagement ring to get washed down the drain!)  Then dry the gem/jewelry and rinse the brush before putting it away for next time.

As I said, not a miracle cream – you still have to scrub.  But this is so much easier to use, with its handy built-in brush, than other cleaners.  Drop one of these into your wife’s or daughter’s stocking, or include one with a piece of jewelry given as a gift.
