I learned this week that Smilebox has some new free Thanksgiving printables. There are some pretty nice things – paper chain pieces with places to write what you’re thankful for, place cards for the Thanksgiving dinner table, etc. One of my favorites, though, was this sign. You fill it in and then you can print or share it.
When I went to fill mine in, I was mindful of a fellow blogger’s upcoming book (watch for it!) [UPDATE: Read about it here.] about intentionally blessing those around us. So I decided to make one for each member of my family, affirming something in their personalities or some bit of Godly character in them, so I can print them all out card-sized and give them to their respective family members.
It might be really neat to make a tradition of doing this at Thanksgiving, passing out blank cards and having each person fill one out for each other person. I know in my household, everyone always says they’re thankful for family, but we don’t usually stop to break it down.
Go here to print your own.
