Rivé Water Bottles

Form truly meets function in these beautiful water bottles!  Rivé has three different lines of glass water bottles.  The Elán is the smallest, at 12 oz.  It is hourglass-shaped, and the glass portion is plain.  Choose from several different colors for the silicone portions.

The Lynx is the tallest, and looks like the bottle pictured at left, except it’s plain in design, like the Elán.  The bottle you see at left is from the Savoy line.  It is available in a number of different designs, and holds 16 oz.

The 16-ounce capacity is one of my favorite features.  This is the only reusable water bottle I’ve found that has the same capacity as a standard disposable bottle of water.  This may not sound like a big deal, but it means that you can use things like the Crystal Light packets and the proportions are right.

That is, of course, not its primary feature, though!  The glass bottle is healthier than plastic.  (It’s also beautiful, which plastic is generally not.)  The slim profile is easy to hold for people like me who have small hands.  It also fits in most cup holders. 

The wide mouth makes it easy to fill.  It allows ice to fit through, as well.  The lid does not have to be removed for drinking.  Rather, the top twists to the left to open a small hole so you can drink from the spout-shaped area.  I found it much easier to drink from than a sport-type bottle.

These would make wonderful gifts for any health-conscious individuals on your gift list.  (And nowadays, it seems that’s most people – at least where water consumption is concerned.)
