As we’ve already mentioned, women are often not too difficult to buy for – so I won’t spend as much time on ideas “for her.” But for the sake of thoroughness, I will offer a few ideas for the ladies on your list.
(For other ideas, beyond what is in this post, see the “gifts for women” section of my gift guide.)
Gifts You Can Buy for Women
- accessories: earrings and other jewelry, scarves, hats, handbags, gloves
- chocolate
- hobby or craft supplies
- chocolate
- clothing (if you’re close enough to her to know her size and taste)
- chocolate
- pretty versions of household basics, like decorative office supplies
- chocolate
- music
- chocolate
Are you seeing a theme here? 😉 Obviously, I’m joking. But chocolate is a foolproof gift for most women. (A few don’t like chocolate or are allergic, but they’re the exception.)
Gifts you Can Make for Women
- accessories and jewelry
- cozies for small electronics
- pretty stationery and/or cases/holders for these
- decorative versions of basic items – decorate a hammer, for instance, or a hairbrush
Gift Cards
Gift cards that are an especially good fit for women include:
- stores that sell items for any hobby she doesn’t usually get to spend money on for herself (the yarn store, the bookstore, etc.)
- jewelry stores: either inexpensive, like Claire’s, or expensive, like Zales
- her favorite clothing store
- local spa or salon
This week we’ll be giving away a Classic Bar Library from Theo chocolate.
