I can’t believe I’m just now writing about Ariel’s birthday, as it’s been almost a month.  But with the several weeks of sickness we experienced, I got a little behind – and then we started school – and I”m just now catching up!

I wanted to show this this great “glittery” t-shirt that Ariel got, to celebrate her graduation into double digits.  Just Jen offers customizable birthday shirts, holiday shirts, bridal party shirts, and more.  I especially appreciate that all of the pieces are customizable “separately.”  My daughters are very small, so if we’d gotten a “10” t-shirt in a “standard” 10-year-old’s size, there’s no way it would’ve fit!  I think this is a 7, and I’m told they run small.  But we picked the size, color, rhinestone color, and number separately to create our own unique combination, so it’s just right.

Ariel picked light green rhinestones because they resemble August’s birthstone – peridot.  (Is that pronounced like it looks?  Or is it pair-ih-doh?  Anybody know?)  Then she chose a pink shirt so it would contrast nicely with the green.  It fits great, and the shirt is fantastic quality.  (My sister took a much better picture of it, but I don’t have it yet.)

If you don’t need a birthday shirt, Just Jen has plenty of other options for sparkly shirts.  🙂  There are big sister/little sister shirts.  (There are a couple less-mainstream options, too, such as “bigger sister” and “middle sister.”)  There are maternity shirts.  There are holiday shirts.  Bridal party shirts announce who is a “bridesmaid” and who is the “bride.”  Get a shirt with your name on it.  Or any one of many other options.

(And of course a “birthday shirt” doesn’t have to be worn just on the actual birthday – you’re the same age for a whole year!)
