If you are looking for a gift for a bibliophile (libromaniac?), you cannot possibly do any better than Levenger.  Levenger is atreasure trove for book lovers/avid readers, carrying a good number of items you just can’t find anywhere else.

What they’re best known for (in my mind, at least) is reading accessories.  Now that we’re solidly into the digital age, this includes things like ereader covers.  But Levenger is one of the few places you won’t find “real books” taking a backseat!  There are book weights, reading lights, and a variety of bookmarks.  The bookmark cards give you a place to take notes as you read.  (Great for those of you who either can’t stand to write in a book, or who are reading through a library book.)  The book bungee goes inside and around your book simultaneously, helping keep it from getting squished.  (This probably also helps keep toddlers from yanking your bookmark out – a constant problem around here.  I have tried mine for long enough to verify this, though.)

(If your book is really big, you can put the bungee in/on “sideways.”)

There are Page Nibs for marking favorite passages.  There are bookends.  Magnifiers.  Book wraps.

Besides reading-specific items, Levenger also carries a huge variety of office/desk/writing supplies – all classy and quite practical.  They carry a variety of journals and writing implements.  They carry cards.  Parperweights.  Almond sticks for fixing up scratches in your office furniture.  A number of nifty fasteners (various paper clips, bands, etc.).  Accessories for your notebooks, like these awesome adhesive pen loops.  (I bet some of you crafters could make good use of these as you are creating your own day-planner covers, too.)

And think “executive gifts.”  They sell lap desks, quality bags & totes, wallets, etc.  The Pocquettes mp3 case is a perfect example of one of the smaller “bag” options – and shows the Levenger attention to detail.

This little leather bag/wallet is designed with two pockets – one for your mp3 player and one for the earbuds.  The earbud pocket even comes with this sturdy leather piece to wrap the wires around inside it.

As you can see, there is a wide price range represented, and a wide range of gift ideas that are quite useful – but nice.  (Not the kind of thing that’s practical-but-boring to get as a gift.)  Many of these items make fantastic stocking stuffers.  Others make great mid-range or even high-range gifts.

If you’re totally at a loss, just go with a gift card – you can’t go wrong there, either. 🙂
